Gen Z Arts & Generation Together

Kiera Freeman and Kaitlyn Han are the founders of Generation Together, an organization who’s purpose is to find ways for different generations to interact to build mutual respect.

For our initial project we chose to create an art exhibition specifically for ‘Generation Z’ artists. We encourage artists to display work expressing a GenZ point of view in some way. Their work will be displayed with artist bios adjacent to their work while they remain near their work to talk about it with visitors. We hope this context may encourage sharing, understanding and mutual appreciation across generations.

Generation Z is the first all-digital generation and has been called ‘the most creative generation’ among many other facts and stats.

We will display some of this information at the event to help visitors quickly immerse themselves into another generations experience and POV.

We hope to demonstrate that open exchange and understanding is the best way forward for all generations.
